Exeter Area GFWC
We’re not just a club —
we’re a group of women who show up, pitch in, and make a real impact. Since 1953, the Exeter Area General Federation of Women's Clubs (EAGFWC) has brought together people from all walks of life to strengthen our communities through hands-on service, advocacy, and connection.
We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Exeter, New Hampshire, and proud members of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) — a global network of women’s organizations with a legacy of leadership and action. That means our local work is part of something even bigger.
Some of us are retired. Some are raising kids. Some are building careers. All of us care deeply about giving back — in ways that fit our lives, our schedules, and our skills.

We Value
Service with purpose – Whether we’re packing food for local families or advocating for survivors of domestic violence, everything we do is rooted in real community need.
Community over competition – We collaborate with other local organizations, amplify each other’s work, and show up as partners, not competitors.
Real friendships, not just formal meetings – We’ve built lifelong friendships over potlucks, comedy nights, and shared volunteer shifts.
Trying something new — and having fun doing it – From planting trees to crafting for a cause, we’re not afraid to get our hands dirty (or try something totally out of our comfort zone).
Respecting our roots while building the future – We honor our 70-year legacy while welcoming fresh ideas and new generations of changemakers.
