What We Do

The Exeter Area GFWC is an active volunteer organization with a wide range of projects and programs. Our members choose how and where to get involved based on their own interests, skills, and availability. From hands-on service to behind-the-scenes planning, there’s something for everyone.

Signature & Special Programs

Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention
Raise awareness and provide support through advocacy, donations, and local partnerships. Focus areas include intimate partner violence, child abuse, teen dating, campus assault, elder abuse, and more.

Advocates for Children
Support and advocate for children and families through education, fundraising, and service projects.

Arts & Culture

Encourage civic responsibility and help those in need. Projects include Candidates’ Night, veteran support, food pantries, homeless outreach, and community partnerships.

Education & Libraries
Promote literacy and learning through scholarships, book donations, tutoring, and school programs.

Environment
Support sustainability and nature appreciation through coastal cleanups, tree planting, recycling, and public space beautification.

Health & Wellness
Promote physical and emotional wellbeing through donations, awareness efforts, and support for nursing homes, food pantries, and other health-related causes.
